Overall, we had a good stay! The room was clean and comfortable, although there were a few areas that could have used a little more attention. Nothing major or enough to negatively impact our stay. The staff was friendly, parking was convenient, and everything went smoothly. We enjoyed our stay and would stay here again!

We were very disappointed with our stay at the Rochester. They claim to have “quiet hours” in the evening but they don’t enforce it. We were in a room on the first floor and could not relax or sleep in our room because of the noise coming from the bar and guests outside. There is no staff on site in the evenings. I called the hotel’s main number for help with this issue and spoke with someone who couldn’t care less about the problem. If you think you’re getting a quaint, quiet, boutique hotel - you’re wrong. They would rather be selling fancy mixed drinks to locals than be accommodating to their hotel guests. At $350/night it’s just disgusting the way we were treated.

Location is great! Staff was very friendly and helpful. GREAT RESTAURANTS and the Drango/Silverton train station in walking distance. However, Walls were a little thin and we could sometimes hear people in the next room. To be fair, we happened upon a bikers event for Labor Day weekend and didn't know it was going to be loud.

Great start for our vacation. Had a family cabin. It was clean and comfy. Had grill on the deck and comfy chairs. Saw Mandy deer and bucks and baby deer walking right by the deck. Outdoor pool was heated. Great place to stay while taking my son to college at Fort Lewis.
